“ Immediate service, perfect pizza crust and sauce. Salad bar is well stocked and clean. Cold beer. Very enjoyable with our two grandchildren. ”
“ Been going here since I was young dude and the quality never misses. Wish they still had the Nintendo 64's there haha. ”
“ I don't know the history of Alfy's, but I do know I've been eating it for more than 40 years. I recall more than once having it brought it for school events when I was in elementary school. The locations near me closed long ago, and the last location I used to get to was Silver Lake. I had a friend in the area and ate there several times. This weekend, I was in Monroe, decided to come here out of nostalgia and immediately became concerned when I saw the low reviews. That said, a lot of places in Monroe have low reviews, so It's clear to me that you should be selective when in the area. We ended up doing Salad Bar and a small Pizza. I've seen better salad bars, but this one wasn't bad. Ham was the only meat option on the bar, but the dressing were thick and flavorful. Being a pizza spot. Salami or fresh bacon would have been a salad bar upgrade. The breadsticks were tasty and the soda fountain had some solid choices. The pizza was better than expected, it was really good, but short of great, The crust wasn't quite crisp and the toppings were warm instead of hot meaning either the oven wasn't hot enough or the pizza wasn't cooked enough. That said, I wouldn't hesitate to return and wish Alfy's came back to King County, that said, based on the website, recent closure tell me that this place may be in trouble. And 4/4 of the locations I used to visit no longer exist, so I'd hate to see Alfy's go the way of Strawhat Pizza and Godfathers. On my exist, I told the manager the pizza was good and the confused look on his face told me, he hadn't heard that is a long time, or enough. ”
“ Alfy's has THE BEST blue cheese dressing hands down !! The pizza is really good but honestly it's just a vessel so I can get as much blue cheese down my throat as possible in one sitting. Fucking amazing. ”
“ One of the last Alfy's left and we love making the drive. They still have Nintendo 64 games and my husband and I always get a few games in while they bake our pizzas. The pizza recipe is consistent with what I remember from my childhood. They have a nice banquet room in the back to rent as well, definitely a gathering place for families. With that being said, please make sure your kids understand how dangerous it is to run in here. A lady almost dropped a pizza on a kid because two kids were roughhousing and running through the middle of the entryway/ordering area. The staff is always pleasant too, be sure to stop by! ”
“ Fresh food, deliciously prepared pizza and clean facilities! With excellent service and a beautifully kept salad bar! But... Four stars due to staffing. They could use another employee during their busy hours. ”
“ I understand some people have bad experiences at any restaurant so I discount random ones that talk about a bad employee. Every restaurant has a few bad apples. You gotta excuse all restaurant reviews for the covid years 2020-21 as well. Times were tough. More importantly: How's the food? The service is something you have to judge after a few times. I've been here a few times now for our monthly meetings on Tuesday night. The pizza is okay. Not fantastic but I've had much worse at other places. We get a discount on pizza when we have meetings as does any regular group. I've had the parmesan wings before and they were delicious! I recommend them highly. I like the salad bar. They have lettuce and spinach. I have never noticed bad lettuce in the bowls. They have a ton of goodies to put on your salad. You can have a one time plate or a all-you-can eat plate. It comes with free garlic bread. It's under warm lights so it can get hard after a while. The little ones might like the games they have inside. There are some free old style computer monitors that have some games on them. Some of the monitors dont work though. There's plenty of comfortable seating. I like this place for a family outing or a group meeting. There is a large separate room that can be divided in two sections for smaller groups. Give it a try. The employees have always been friendly. I'm sure you'll like it! I'll take some pics next time I go. ”
